What we collect

When you submit a Sahara travel request through Dalil, we collect: your full name, email address, an optional WhatsApp number or phone number, your destination of interest, your travel window, your group size, your budget range, and an optional message describing your trip. We do not ask for your passport number, nationality, or date of birth at this stage.

Why we collect it and who receives it

We collect this information to connect you with agencies who can organize your trip. Your request will be shared with 1–3 verified partner agencies who will contact you directly. Dalil acts only as an introduction service between travelers and agencies — we are never the tour operator, and we do not organize, book, or take responsibility for your trip.

The legal basis for this processing is Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR: it is necessary to take steps, at your request, before entering into a contract with an agency.

Where it is stored

Your data is stored on Supabase, encrypted both in transit and at rest. We never sell your data to third parties.

Analytics

We use PostHog to measure how visitors use this site. Analytics data is anonymized and does not include any personal information you submit through the request form. The only cookie we set is a technical one (dz_country) holding your country code for 24 hours, so we can see which countries our visitors come from. It contains no identifier and cannot be used to recognize or track you.
